Smart Access
Smart Access is a future connected-property addition to HODStay. It will bring RFID key-card and electronic door-lock integration to hotels that want to move beyond physical keys — with every access event tied directly to a guest reservation.
What is planned
RFID key-card integration
Provision a guest key-card directly from the HODStay reservation screen. Cards become active on check-in and are automatically deactivated at checkout.
Electronic door lock support
Smart Access will work with compatible hotel-grade electronic door lock hardware. Lock and unlock events will be recorded against the guest reservation.
Full access audit trail
Every room access event will be logged and linked to the responsible guest or staff member. The audit trail will be visible to hotel management.
Multi-room and floor support
Guest-facing room access, staff master access, and management override levels will all be supported.
Current status
Smart Access is in the design and hardware evaluation phase. It is not currently available for any HODStay property and is not purchasable through any current plan.
